Admiral Portable Lamp

Admiral Portable Lamp is designed to shape the atmosphere around a table. The sculpted fabric shade softens the diffused light, creating a warm, focused glow that supports both dining and conversation. 

Compact and balanced in form, the lamp sits naturally within smaller settings or repeated across longer tables in restaurants and bars. A rechargeable battery allows for extended use, while the low colour temperature enhances depth and warmth. 

Admiral is compatible with Audo’s charging board and designed for disassembly, allowing components to be repaired or sorted at end of life.

MEET THE DESIGNGER

Pernille Arlien-Søborg

Pernille Arlien-Søborg is a Copenhagen-based designer whose work is shaped by a deep sensitivity to atmosphere, materiality and the sensory experience of space. Educated in Spatial Design at the Royal Danish Academy, she founded her studio in 2008, specialising in hospitality interiors across restaurants, hotels and workspaces. Her approach begins with the identity of a place and the feeling it should evoke. Working across light, materials, sound and texture, she engages the senses in subtle and carefully considered ways. Rather than treating interiors as static compositions, Pernille views them as settings for experience and interaction, where mood and rhythm are shaped through the relationship between objects, surfaces and people. For Audo, she has designed the Admiral Portable Lamp, originally developed for Admiral Hotel in Copenhagen to create a softer, more intimate light around the dining table.
